Nigerians have endured a lot.
COVID 19.

BUHARI.
TINUBU.
RECESSION.
FUEL SCARCITY.

FOREIGN INFLUENCE.

KIDNAPPINGS.
AND A WHOLE LOT MORE……
If I say that we have experienced all this in the space of less than six years, you would find it hard to believe.
We have consistently gobbled up bad news. The average man takes in more bad news than meals at this point.
We have gradually lost our sense of empathy because we have seen negative news a tad too much.
It has become a norm to wake up need of killings or government borrowing or some crazy news.
We have seen news that would sound stupid even to a child and we can't do anything about it.
The military is literally arresting the people speaking up against the poor treatment against them.
ENDSARS, a protest to stop police brutality was stopped by killing and brutalizing of people by the military.
The government complains of lack of money. They then go ahead to borrow from foreign organizations thereby increasing our already large loans which they barely struggle to service not clear. This money is then spent on government vehicles and unnecessary bureaucratic workforce.
Just go take a look at this year's budget and the allocation to health care.
There is an independent electoral body chairman being appointed by the head of the country.
How can you defy your employer?
A normal Nigerian, over time, would naturally become number after listening to silly news of all sorts.
I don't totally blame Nigerians ehi have given up on the country.
How do you believe in a country whose president was a drug dealer and is under the command of foreign institutions.
It is hard to not be insensitive to the happenings of the country because dwelling on them gradually makes you bitter and depressed.
You eventually become someone who hates the country in the eyes of some when you only just hope for a better country.
Even despite all this, we can't allow ourselves to develop apathy for the country.
We need to speak up more. We need to show that we actually care about our nation.
We can't all leave this country for greener pastures. If you do, what about your parents or siblings?
We can't leave this nations to only the prayers of the righteous. We have to take a stand and do something.
Nigeria is a great nation.
A lot of countries has seen our potential long before we even did. That is why they want us as their slaves because they know they can't control our greatness.
Nigeria would be stronger than before.
Keep striving for your country.
In all, Stay Jiggy……
